SEED GERMINATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Gather your supplies
Gather your cannabis seeds, a clean glass, distilled water, a roll of plain paper towel, two dinner plates (or a resealable plastic bag), and a spray bottle.

2. Soak the seeds
Pour room‑temperature distilled water into the glass until it’s half full, gently drop your seeds in, and let them sit for 12–18 hours in a warm, dark spot. Sinking and floating seeds are both normal. Never soak your seeds for more than 24 hours.

3. Prep the towels and transfer seeds
Lay several paper towels flat on a plate and spray them evenly with distilled water until they are damp but not dripping. Wash your hands and move each seed onto the damp towel.

4. Cover and seal
Lay a top layer of paper towels over the seeds, spray them with water, then cover the plate with another upside‑down plate (or tuck the towel into a resealable plastic bag). This will keep humidity high while allowing a bit of airflow. Place your setup in a warm, dark area.

5. Monitor and mist
Check every 6–12 hours and mist the towels if they begin to dry. Avoid both bone‑dry towels and puddles.

6. Watch for taproots
In 24–72 hours most seeds will crack and push out a white taproot. Once you see that, they’re ready for soil or your chosen growing medium. Some seeds may take up to a week, so don’t give up too early.

7. Plant gently
Wash your hands and place each seed taproot‑down about 5 mm into a lightly moistened medium. Lightly cover the seed without pressing down too hard. Spray the top layer of soil instead of drenching it with a watering can. Seedlings should emerge in 2–3 days.
